Count Volodymyr Didushytskyi, who created the first European reserve “Pamiatka Peniatska”, started the reserve business on these lands to preserve the unique beech woodlands and the white-tailed eagle.
Here we see the natural landmark “Trynih” (The Three-Legged), which has long been called “Brody Switzerland”. The Styr River originates from the picturesque beech forest, and on top of Trynih Mount you can see the rocks of various bizarre shapes of weathering, which we inherited from the archaic Sarmatian Sea. Particular attention is drawn to the sacred buildings that are harmoniously scattered on the hill within the low mountain range of the Voroniaky hills at an altitude of 388 m. In greatness, you can see the unique temples – the new Church of the Placing of the Venerable Robe of the Most Holy Mother of God and the ancient church of St. Onuphrius.
