Zaporizhzhia region
The park protects the vast expanses of the Pryazovia steppe. Rare species of plants and animals live here. For example, part of the population of the red-breasted goose (Branta ruficollis) winters here. You can also find the rare ruddy shelduck (Tadorna ferruginea).
The Molochnyi Estuary is the pearl of the park, the vast expanses of which are home to many species of aquatic birds and a spawning ground for valuable species of marine fish. The estuary is separated from the sea by a thin sandy strip – the Peresyp and Stepanivska Spits. The beaches of Pryazovskyi Park are a favourite vacation spot of many Ukrainians and guests from other countries. It is best to visit the park in late spring and summer.
