The beauty of the Dniester Meanders – sinuous curves of the river, and covered with forest steep slopes of the Dniester Canyon, a natural wonder of Ukraine – make your heart beat faster. The canyon depth in some particular areas amounts to 150-200 meters. Certain parts of rocks resemble Swiss cheese – it is covered with holes from caves and grottoes orifices. The unique Shumylo waterfall is a purely local Bukovyna paradox; just imagine – a water flow falling down a waterfall cascade with total height of 34 meters.
For mushroom hunting lovers there more than 100 species of edible mushrooms during the year and even in winter! A fisherman will not always be able to spread arms wide enough to show the length of the catfish caught.
