About park

High mountains, the playful streams of mountain rivers, clean healing air, vast natural forests, numerous historical, architectural and natural sites – Vyzhnytsia National Nature Park has all of these things and more.

People come here to fortify themselves and improve their health in a pristine natural environment . After all, there is a unique “iron” spring in the reserve, the healing water of which helps to get rid of many diseases.

Here you will rest near a 250-year-old beach.. It is a spectacular tree with a diameter of 4.5 meters and the height of a 12-storey building which grows in the Stebnyk natural landmark. You will try healing water from the “iron” spring. You will admire the miracle of nature, the Protiate Kaminnia Rocks, and climb the picturesque Stizhok Mountain.

The territory of the park has become a safe habitat for rare plants and animals. There are representatives of 81 species of Red Book Animals; 45 species of rare plants grow there. You can meet the fire salamander (Salamandra salamandra), the European wildcat (Felis silvestris), the brown bear (Ursus arctos) and the lynx. Rare species of orchids grow in the park. What is more, “Vyzhnytsia Park” is the only place in the Ukrainian Carpathians where there are all three types of ferns from the Polystichum genus.
