There you can see the drowsy spring forests and a periwinkle (Vinca) flower carpet beneath your feet amidst ancient beeches, as well as pine, beech and oak forests which are found only in Roztochia and Crimea. Fascinating birds stop at ponds to rest on their way of endless migrations. The offspring of wild tarpan horses (Equus ferus ferus) are bred in the park.
The Krekhiv shrines and Mount Stradetska are located nearby surrounded by hills of beech and pine forests of Roztochia. Prayers uttered there are special. There are small hamlets nearby where folk craftsmen will teach you how to paint “verbivka” on the famous Yavoriv toy. This is the place where history is cherished – there are several museums where you can get acquainted with historical findings. Let’s get our journey started!

How to get here
The nearest railway station: Lviv.
You can get from Lviv to Ivano-Frankove by “Lviv-Shklo” bus from the Dvirtsevyi Bus Station (Railway station), or by any bus of Yavoriv direction departing from Yanivskyi Cemetery (130 T. Shevchenka Str.). Bus service is regular. Distance – 22,2 km, time – 30 min.
The distance from Lviv city centre to Ivano-Frankove urban village is 25,3 km following М10 highway. Time of travelling – 40 min. Along Е40/ М10 highway – 32,7 km, 40 min. Along Е40 highway – 29,7 km – 50 min.
